Go Green is a unique national environmental recognition and certification program for commercial buildings in Canada, designed, developed and administered by the Building Owners and Managers Association of Canada (BOMA) in partnership with BOMA local associations across the country.

Go Green is designed to assist building owners in resource conservation, recognize environmental leadership in Canada, and have a significant impact on the commercial real estate industry's approach to environmental issues.

Go Green is an industry “best practices” model, with a requirement to meet the ten minimum best practice criteria, in five key environmental areas:

Waste Reduction & Recycling
•  Construction Waste
•  Recycling

Tenant Awareness
•  Communication Program

Interior Environment
•  Indoor Air Quality
•  HVAC Maintenance

Building Materials

•  Ozone Depleting Substances
